Every month, PHA hosts an informal media breakfast at the The Ivy Club. Attended by 12 senior, successful people – CEOs, industry leaders, lawyers, politicians and entrepreneurs – the event is a high-level opportunity to get together with your peers, network, build new contacts and discuss, in confidence, the big media and business issues of the day.
The PHA media breakfast is an informal roundtable chat. There’s no selling, nothing to ‘prepare for’, no speeches, and the Chatham House rule applies so you can speak freely. The event provides senior and high-profile figures with a relaxed environment in which to gain insider information and gather the views of key figures from the media and business world.
Our Business Breakfasts have been established on a regular monthly basis for over two years and have gained a reputation for providing a forum for debating the media and political issues of the day, attracting Entrepreneurs and representatives of brands such as Mumsnet, Mastercard, The Walt Disney Company, Sainsburys Supermarkets, Facebook, Lawn Tennis Association, Santander and O2 Telefonica to name but a few. On each occasion the group includes representatives of the print media and from senior broadcasters and producers from The Today Programme, Sky News, BBC2 Jeremy Vine show, ItV Daybreak, and prominent representatives from the legal profession including representatives from Charles Russell, Hamlins and Vardags Solicitors. It affords an opportunity to rub shoulders with representatives from the Political parties as well as other influential public sector and non public sector bodies such as the Metropolitan Police, the Institute of Directors, The London Mayor’s Office and YouGov.
We start to gather around 8.00am for an 8.30am start in the private dining room at the The Ivy Club or similar venues across London. It’s a silver service, a la carte menu, and there is of course no charge, as the costs are covered by PHA Media. We aim to finish at 9:45am prompt.
