Creation and community management of music act Major’s presence across multiple online platforms
As part of integrated campaign across both traditional and social media, we implemented a multi-channel digital strategy to create a series of creative and innovative content to increase awareness of Major’s presence online.
In the run up to the release of their debut single, Love Me Boy, which was set to be released exclusively on iTunes, Major were keen to build on their existing online presence and raise awareness of their brand amongst the social media savvy teen market.
Originality and creativity
PHA Media developed a tiered social media strategy, creating a number of branded social media channels which enabled Major to engage with their fans and promote their passion for all things Music and Style.
Whilst the band themselves took control of Twitter, PHA Media provided daily updates across a range of channels including Facebook, Pinterest and the main Major blog. We also filmed the girls at a variety of locations, creating
a number of engaging content units which were then seeded across the various channels.
Strategy and implementation
We implemented a multi-channel digital strategy to maximise Major’s online presence, building additional social media platforms to enable us to create an extensive variety of visual, video and audio content.
We developed monthly content plans around the Girls’ schedules, to develop specific content strands whilst also integrating all Traditional PR work to increase their brand exposure.
Results and evaluation
Under our stewardship, Major’s Facebook following increased by 40 per cent, with engagement increasing by 75 per cent, whilst Twitter and Instagram showed increased engagement levels week on week.
