Setting the scene for a revamp
Ahead of the launch of its software version 2.0, we were brought in to help raise Rivo’s profile as a leader within its sector and the go-to experts in operational risk across a number of key trade sectors.
Rivo provides an innovative risk management software platform to solve corporate issues around safety, security and sustainability.
The core objectives for this campaign were to:
• Reach new potential customers and users of Rivo’s software version 2.0 across sectors including construction and infrastructure, energy and utilities, manufacturing and automotive, and transport
• Establish Rivo as a leading operational risk, health and safety software platform, superior to competitors
• Highlight flaws in current operational risk management platforms and raise awareness of the global issue of health and safety
• Drive traffic to the site through informed, authored content
Originality and Creativity
Rivo had little prior presence in the media, and there was generally very little knowledge about how to effectively manage operational risk in larger organisations, so we approached key media titles with guides, tips and advice demonstrating both Rivo’s unrivalled expertise and the importance of businesses reviewing their procedures.
We also used timely news hooks following large corporate accidents to provide analysis of the situation and what could be done to mitigate similar circumstances in future.
Strategy and Implementation
Press Engagement: introducing Rivo to a number of trade publications, we arranged numerous phone interviews for the team to discuss the importance of operational risk
Expert Commentary and Features: harnessing the team’s easy-to-access, jargon-free platform to create step-by-step guides to operational risk, we generated a wide range of feature opportunities across the trade press. We also provided commentary on key news hooks from an analysis standpoint for wider communication
Business Profiling: we generated a number of business profile opportunities through the Managing Director’s extensive experience in M&A, as well as around the growth of Rivo and their international expansion
Results and Evaluation
Over the six month build=up period for Rivo, we generated feature coverage across a wide range of trade sectors in publications including Flybe’s Flight Time, London Live, Health & Safety Matters, Safety and Health Practitioner, Automotive World, UK Construction, IFSEC Global, Maintenance & Engineering and Industrial Plant & Equipment.
