ZipJet

Objectives

  • Launch ZipJet in the London market with a high-impact media campaign.
  • Raise brand awareness and support user acquisition in selected city boroughs, where service is available.

Originality & Creativity

Among the hundreds of tech startups and apps that launch every day, Zipjet needed to target a niche and local audience. This was done by using data to create a news hook and demonstrate a need, which then encouraged regional publications to then test the product out for themselves.

Strategy & Implementation

To launch ZipJet in the UK market, we targeted key app review slots at national, regional and consumer publications, positioning the service as the perfect tool to help busy working professionals or stressed parents to keep on top of life admin.

We also conducted a survey to highlight the significant lack of washing machines in flats across the capital, re-emphasising its value to those unable to do their washing within their own four walls.

Results

Following on from just a two-week programme, coverage secured in a range of national, regional and consumer publications including The Sun, The Observer, The Telegraph, Good Housekeeping and London24.
